SOS Outreach Ride Day

For those who may not know, we are currently partnered with an organization called SOS Outreach. This remarkable organization is dedicated to empowering youth across America to discover their full potential through a curriculum that includes adult mentorship, outdoor adventures (like skiing), and community service. SOS leverages these avenues to instill crucial core values such as courage and discipline into these young, bright minds.

During their winter program, mentors guide their groups of youth on “Ride Days.” In February 2023, several members of the SI4S team along with other family & friends were able to attend one of these Ride Days. This provided an opportunity to meet the youth we sponsored into SOS Outreach’s program and present them with their very own #ShaneShredders sweatshirts!

During this trip, we also were able to meet the young woman who helped design the SOS Outreach x Nordica skis we did a giveaway with. Read our SOS Outreach x Nordica Skis Giveaway blog to hear the full story!
