2021-2022 Celebration of Life Tour

Throughout the end of 2021 and 2022, we had multiple celebrations of life for Shane. He has so many people who love and miss him in Chicago, Pennsylvania, Utah, and more. 

Shane’s family and close friends felt it was only right to reach as many of these people as we could and thus, Shane’s Celebration of Life Tour was born. The celebrations of Shane’s life began in Chicago in September 2021, moving to Pennsylvania in October, and ending in Utah in July 2022 for his birthday. 

At each of these events, we cried, we laughed, we shared stories, and to be frank we drank a lot of beer  (Shane would’ve wanted us to #hammpion).

October 2021 - Pennsylvania

Few photos were taken this day. The turnout truly exceeded our expectations and we were all busy talking with people and sharing stories. Thank you to all those who came to celebrate Shane.

July 2022 - Utah at Snowbird SKi Resort

The weekend kicked off with a camping trip led by TJ and his girlfriend Taylor, who graciously took a group of us out to one of their favorite spots. We camped for a few days/nights, enjoying delicious soup and the calm embrace of nature. It was the perfect way to start a highly anticipated weekend.

On July 9th, 2022 we gathered at the base of Snowbird, taking the lift up to the location where everyone willing and able could hike up to Shane’s resting spot, Mt. Baldy. Following our time there, we rode the lift back down to enjoy sandwiches, drinks, and share the new coozies and Celebration of Life T-Shirt with everyone who came.

The follow day TJ took another group of family members and friends to go rock-climbing!
